The charging head network has obtained a socket converter launched by Chint, which can expand to two new national standard five-hole jacks and two new national standard two-hole jacks, and has three fast charging interfaces of 2A1C, supporting 30W output power, and meeting AC and DC output expansion. The interior of the package is only the adapter body, which is made of fireproof and flame-retardant PC material. The fine line frosted white shell + the splicing design of the black shell processed by laser drawing and engraving are anti-scratch and anti-scratch. The front is equipped with 2A1C three USB ports and two sets of 3+2 new national standard combination jacks. The internal plastic core of the USB female port is black.

The AC jack has a white protective door inside to prevent electric shock.

The back adopts the fixed pin design, which is more stable when the wall is inserted and is suitable for home use.

The back shell also has the product specification parameter inscription, which is consistent with the packaging box, and does not do too much to elaborate. The product has passed CCC certification.


Using the ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM003C test, the USB-C port supports FCP, AFC, QC3+/4+, PD3.0, PPS, Apple 2.4A charging protocol.


 

The PDO message shows that the USB-C port has five sets of fixed voltage gear: 5V3A, 9V3A, 12V2.5A, 15V2A, 20V1.5A, and 5-11V3A PPS voltage gear.

The measured USB-A port supports QC2.0/3.0, AFC, FCP, SCP, Apple 2.4A, Samsung 5V2A, DCP charging protocols.
 

Chint 30W fast charge converter disassembled

After reading the unboxing and testing of this Chint fast charge converter, we will disassemble it and look at the internal design and materials.

First, remove the cover plate on the back of the socket to expose the copper strip of the internal PCBA module and socket.

The upper part of the socket is a fast charging PCBA module, and the lower part is a socket module, which is composed of integrated copper strips and equipped with a safety door.

There is an isolation plate on the back of the cover plate to separate the fast charging PCBA module from the socket module.

The fast charging PCBA module is connected to the socket module through a wire to obtain power.

Remove the socket module and the fast charge PCBA module from inside the housing.

The socket module consists of a single copper belt, and the pins and power supply wires are connected by welding.

Using vernier caliper, the thickness of the integrated copper strip is about 0.46mm.

The power supply wire of the fast charging module is connected by welding, and the solder joints are full and smooth.

Fast charging PCBA module back welded rectifier bridge, primary power chip, chip Y capacitor, feedback optocoupler and synchronous rectifier chip. Slots are opened between the primary stages of PCBA module, and the shell structure is used for insulation isolation.

Through the observation of the fast charging PCBA module, it is found that it uses flyback switching power supply with wide voltage output, and the output voltage is fed back to the primary main control chip by the protocol chip through the optocouple, and the output voltage is adjusted to supply power to the output interface, realizing the output strategy of single-port fast charging and multi-port 5V. Here we start from the input side to understand the design and materials of the entire fast charge module.

The input delay fuse is 2A 250V.

NTC thermistor screen 5D-9, in series with fuse, used to suppress the surge current of the plug.

The input rectifier bridge is from. The model is WRMSB30M and the specification is 3A1000V. This soft bridge through the softer recovery curve, smoother turn-off characteristics, can reduce the diode junction capacitance to achieve very little harmonic oscillation effect.

The main control chip of switching power supply adopts Bieasy KP22035, which is a high-performance current mode PWM conversion chip with CoolMos integrated for off-line flyback converter. The chip adopts green energy-saving mode, burp mode, mid-load bottom conduction mode and other optimization system efficiency, which can easily meet the six level energy efficiency requirements. The chip supports 8-75V VDD power supply, which is convenient to meet the requirements of wide voltage output power supply.

KP22035 built-in high precision 65KHz switching frequency oscillator, integrated slope compensation, soft start, jitter technology, loop gain regulation and other functions. The stability, reliability and electromagnetic compatibility of the system have been greatly improved.


 

KP22035 is fully integrated with protection features, including: VDD Undervoltage protection (UVLO), VDD Overvoltage protection (VDD OVP), Output overvoltage protection (OVP), output undervoltage protection (UVP), cycle current limit (OCP), overload protection (OLP), short circuit protection (SCP), built-in overheat protection, front blanking (LEB), CS pin open protection, etc.

The cloud Silicon XPD977 has an integrated 10mΩ VBUS channel power switch tube, and an integrated 10mΩ current detection resistor, and a built-in VPWR and VBUS dual discharge path.
